The quality of the food and delivery service is always very good. I only have one criticism - I cannot bear coriander and every one of your dishes is doused in coriander. Don’t do it! 50% of humans do not have the coriander gene and it tastes like soap to us!

Food delivered a minute before the projected time. Food amazing as always - maybe the best selection of plant-based Indian food in North Birmingham. Lots of options for soya instead of meat (having not eaten meat for 40 years I get a bit bored of the “mixed vegetables” replacement for meat when there are so many other options easily available now, such as Soya, Quorn, Seitan, Banana blossom etc.). My gf and I recently visited the restaurant for her birthday (she lives on the south coast) and she said that it was the best Indian meal she’d ever had. We will visit again soon, but Malai remains my first choice for home delivery food.

Good to be able to request vegan options by placing the order and then calling them to confirm which of our choices were vegan. These were also identified on the receipt as ‘no butter’. Thank you!

We had a relative who was strictly vegetarian. We ordered methi paneer, on arrival the box was labelled methi paneer but on attempting to put on her plate she was horrified to discover it was chicken . It was only by luck that she noticed and didn’t put in her mouth which for a vegetarian is a horrible experience. I phoned the restaurant and they did apologise and deliver a new meal fairly promptly but it meant everyone else was virtually finished with their meal by the time the replacement dish arrived. Apart from that experience the food is tasty.

Less oil, very authentic Indian food. Loved the bag in which take away was given.
